ESP LTD SCT-607B Stephen Carpenter Signature 7-string Baritone Electric Guitar - Black Reviews
Designed by Stephen Carpenter (Deftones) to support his punishing musical style, the ESP LTD SCT-607B Stephen Carpenter Signature 7-string guitar is primed for a sonic assault. Its neck-through body construction with 27-inch baritone scale length supports extremely low tunings without sacrificing string tension. And for maximum tonal dexterity, a pair of Fishman Fluence SRC Signature active pickups offer multiple voicings via the push/pull volume control. Meanwhile, premium locking tuners and a Tonepros locking Tune-o-matic bridge offer rock-solid tuning stability. If your music calls for the thunderous nature of a down-tuned baritone, you'll be impressed with the ESP LTD SCT-607B Stephen Carpenter Signature guitar.

Bearitone, like it’s a Grizzly 7 man
Now I have two favorite guitars from Sweetwater, this and my Matt Heafy Origins 7 string. Yes I am a huge fan of the Fishman Fluence active pickups. Started out as a 5 string bassist hooked on active EMG pickups and the progression to learning to play 7 strings was too easy. Still playing 6 strings for drop tuning and other old school fun too. This is a solid versatile modern guitar that almost plays itself and its asymmetrical neck rules for ripping leads or pounding out phat chords for all genres. Tied for first place guitar. Fitted case that comes with it makes for safe shipping and storage.
