I have 2 of these clamps. One to hold my ipad and one to hold my Alesis MultiStrike. The clamps save me having to haul 2 extra stands plus I take up a bit smaller foot print on stage.

These multi clamps keep your floor space clean and hold up anything you can fit in them. Using them form toms, cymbal arms, snare and module on a TD 17 KVX.
Overkill compared to the Roland plastic bits? Absolutely, 100% overkill, no apologies, no regrets and loving them!
Better and Cheaper than the Roland V-Drum mounts
The clamps that shipped with my Roland V-Drums are plastic and garbage. If you have a tendancy to over-tighten, like I do, they will break. I called Sweetwater and the rep (Chris Defaut) guided me to these metal ones. They are WAY better and cost about 50% less. I added cymbal arms to some of them (SC-4425B-1 Cymbal Boom Arm Ratchet Tilter) and those ended up being about 60% cheaper than the official (plastic) Roland ones. These clamps are great. They work in either a horizontal or vertical configuration, and they can hold either an L-clamp or a cymbal boom arm. Thanks, Sweetwater, and thanks, Chris.
