Don't stick.
I haven't tried to use these on an acoustic mylar head but they won't stick to a mesh or rubber yamaha edrum kick tower. Gibraltar used to always make solid stuff. What happened? They should fix these and send new ones to people who have bought these. I bought a remo patch, sticks great.
no stick stickers
These didn't stay on my bass drum head at all!
Won't Stick to Drum Head and Cupping at the Edges.
How can they screw this up? They used an insufficiently sticky adhesive, that's how. It can't even hold itself on the head. And, after you beat on it, it cups at the edges as it falls off! I tried it on both acoustic drum head and black rubber E drum head...both times, no workey! Yes, I cleaned and dried the head before application. Just a poor product. Not very sticky and a total waste of money.
