Equipment Bracket

By Joseph A. from FOSTER, RI

I used this with the Gibraltar equipment arm. It is used to mount a plastic 16" x 20" electronics table.

Perfect Fit for Vintage Octapad

By Martin C. from Morgantown, WV

I got this to mount my 80's vintage Roland PAD-8 Octapad to the accompanying Gilbralter 6713E stand. I was a little worried the holes might not line up because there's no explicit mention of it being compatible with such an old device, but they must have carried on with the same standard hole mounting for all these years, because it lines up perfectly with the intended mounting spot on the Octapad. All it took was four 1.5" 10-32 bolts and it was fitted snugly. I also included washers and lockwashers, since I want to be sure it doesn't loosen up while being battered. Bolts and washers are not included, which is understandable since different pads and modules might need different sized screws.

It is a single piece of cast aluminum, and the finish is well done without any flashing, burrs or sharp edges. I think this is excellent quality for the price and is a great value overall. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

It’s perfect for the Yamaha DTX Multi 12!

By Ryan A. from DeKalb, IL
Music Background: Bass player 20+ years and messing with drums like a year…avid reader

If you're wondering if it fits the Multi 12 then you skipped the title of this review cause it's perfect. Are you wondering if it's sturdy? I could use this to puncture a coconut! It wouldn't be an ideal weapon but I could take out at least 3 zombies with this hunk of metal. More with the right gloves and two layers of long sleeves. Did Phil Collins ever write an autobiography, and is it any good? That's a bit off the subject but…Yes! It's excellent and you should read it just to find out how he became an honorary Texan!

Can be used with Kat KTMP1 drum pad

By Jerry S. from INDIANAPOLIS, IN

This is made of cast aluminum, which gives me much better confidence than the plastic kind that comes with the KTMP1, The holes didn't line up exactly, but a few minutes with a small rat-tail file, and all is good.

Fits the KAT KTMP1

By Nick V. from SEBRING, FL

Bought this to replace the stock plastic mount that comes with the drum pad. This is much heavier duty, however the screws that came with the KAT are too short and you have to be careful installing the longer screws so as to not crossthread and strip the inserts in the pad itself.

Fits!

By JD from Anaheim, CA
Music Background: Rock drummer (about 20 yrs), apartment producer (when the kids are asleep).

Bought this little guy to replace my old module mount for the (ancient) Roland td-8, thinking that even if the screws don't fit, I can always just velcro it down. Well, it fits the module perfectly, and it fits in the rack mount of that old Roland kit! Brilliant. Thanks Sweetwater!

The cheaper option is just as solid!

By Matthew from New Jersey

Although the SC-EMMP is not noted as being compatible with the Roland Handsonic HPD-20, it is. The plate and screw holes aline properly and hold the unit securely. The Gibraltar SC-EMMP in addition to the Gibraltar 6713E electronics mounting stand is a $130 less expensive solution to the Roland PDS-10 to support your Handsonic. So unless you want to buy for the brand name or have the cash to spare, the SC-EMMP is a solid option as an HPD-20 interface mount for less. Highly recommend! And always with Sweetwater!

Rock Solid Deal

By Mojo B. from Lafayette, IN
Music Background: Producer, Engineer, principle percussionist for Gsus4

Of the three available versions of this mount that I'm aware of, this is the only one made of metal. Though not as overbuilt as most Gibraltar products, it seems sturdy enough for a lifetime's use and less likely to break than anything you might attach it to, other than a rack or stand. It aligns perfectly with the screw holes in my Roland and Alesis products, but bear in mind Gibraltar does not include screws, for the very good reason that Alesis screws are longer than Roland screws, which while they have the same threading, are 8mm, maximum, meaning you cannot attach a Roland product with Alesis screws, but maybe you could attach an Alesis pad or module with the Roland screws, if less securely.

. My Roland brain came with the proper screws already attached, and the Alesis version of this part included the mounting screws.I don't know whether the Roland version of this mount includes screws, for the very good reason that it costs more than double what this or the Alesis version does. DDrum or Yamaha? I dunno, you're on your own. So long as you can source the proper screws, you can save a few bucks by buying this product. Half star deducted because the open end of the shaft leaves it vulnerable to crushing, if over-tightened, though I bet it would still work.
