These aren't 8mm
I bought a set of these as well as the longer equivalent; both Gibraltar. The long ones screw on to the cymbal stand threads and have a snug secure fit but these shorter ones have a larger diameter and slide on. They are still functional but don't work as they are intended to be used especially If your cymbal threads are super long.
