Using state-of-the-art technology, the Yamaha SB168-ES EtherSound stage box lets you pipe uncompressed 24-bit/48kHz digital audio over Cat 5e cable over distances of up to approximately 328 feet. On top of that, you can activate the SB168-ES's amp heads remotely from your Yamaha digital console, letting you tweak your mic gain levels without leaving FOH. When combined with the stellar sonic quality of the SB168-ES's amp heads, this capability provides you with a huge advantage for live performances.
