Bond, Chemical Bond.
In my 45+ years of guitar wielding, with countless economy to high end axes, I've never had a guitar that I wanted to pick up and play every time I looked at it, until this one. Simply the most amazing guitar that's ever come close to a perfect fit for me.
She's A Keeper
First off, I don't know why many guitar manufacturers are shipping their electric guitars with 10s these days when the standard used to be 9s. That being said, upon unboxing and inspecting this guitar it was flawless, the finish impeccable and the hardware and fretwork was top notch. After slapping on a lighter guage set of strings and doing a set up, this babe plays like a dream. The DiMarzio Tone Zone and Air Norton are perfectly balanced with each other and offers plenty of output without being overbearing on the gain, resulting in searing yet clean articulation. Every note is defined, even when playing chords. This instrument is what you've come to expect from a name as prestigious as the Ibanez Prestige series.
Blown Away
This is one of the best guitars I've ever played. Period. I reccomend this guitar to everyone. So many tonal options, and perfect for any style of music
A GREAT GUITAR
One of the best Guitars I own. I love the low profile fixed bridge, very comfortable while playing, and perfect for muting. I love the versatility of the pickups, no problem playing clean, to classic rock, hard rock, to heavy metal. These pickups work great for all, and sound amazing. I've heard from others that the S-bodies being so thin and light weight, have no sustain...let me tell you that's not true, this guitar has lots of sustain, very close to my Les Paul Standard. All in all, the thin neck is great for lead runs and cord progressions, and well balanced making it easy to handle on stage. I want to send my thanks out to Brandon Eden for expediting one to me when it arrived. I'd recommend this guitar to any serious player, the cost is a little high, but in this case you get what you pay for.
Fantastic guitar
I love the fixed bridge version of this guitar. The parallel on the neck pickup is nice too, not quite single coil territory but not far off either. This plays like a dream. I wasn't 100% sure about it when I bought it but now that I've had it a couple of weeks there are no regrets. This will survive the purge of my enormous collection when I start selling them all. Worth every penny. Perfect fit and finish.
Perfect fit.
I have been playing the S series since the early 90s and this is the first guitar I have purchased since then that had the fit and feel of those early masterpieces. The tone is perfect for the wide range of rock and metal that I play. You can't go wrong.
Insane!
Without a doubt the best guitar I've ever owned and probably ever will own. I've played and owned guitars $1000 more expensive than the 6521 and this absolutely blows everything else out of the water. Super light and comfy, the neck is very slim yet comfortable. This thing completely flipped my thoughts on Ibanez as well as thinner necks 180 degrees. After 3 years of being my main axe and playing it virtually every day, the satin finish on the back of the neck has still not worn down to that sticky, half-gloss like some satin necks will. The fretwork is perfection, and all of the little details were executed flawlessly as well. I am able to get the setup just right every time and it seems to need less adjustment than my other guitars. If you want something able to get you really low action, this is your guy.
I can't comment on the Dimarzios as mine has the V7/V8 set, but if they're even in the same ballpark, you will not be disappointed. This is the only electric I use for teaching as well as learning/writing in standard tuning and it easily does everything from jazz to country to metal without issue. I've also had it in D standard as well as drop C for a decent bit of time and it still retains that clarity even under high gain. The split positions are fantastic for cleans and that edge of breakup sound.
That being said, this guitar is obviously not for everyone. If you like hefty guitars with thick necks, this may not suit what you're looking for. BUT if you are into the idea of a super light, super ergonomic guitar that will do everything in it's power to stay out of your way and let you play as well as you're able to, at least give this a shot.
Im confident that this will be my main guitar for many years to come and will outlast my lifetime.
Just a great rock guitar
I bought this guitar maybe 6 months ago. It was fantastic, right out of the box. It feels great to play and sounds great too. It's super flexible, although I use it to play pretty aggressively most of the time! The fact that it played great immediately was a nice bonus!
Ibanez Prestige S6521Q
Received it today. On the one hand: as an amateur, the volume knob is in the way for me. However it seems I'm already becoming accustomed to it. If I were on stage and wanted quick easy access I would say it is in the perfect spot. On the other hand: It looks very nice, it's light, it feels very nice, it plays very nice, and most importantly it sounds very good. I recommend it.
Beyond Amazing

Best Guitar I own
After two weeks I will say this is the best guitar I have, Fun to play, sounds great, fast and light, good for live performance or jamming at home. I play fender Strats, Les Paul, ESP, Schecter and out of all of these this is my favorite. I really like the neck.
Watch out for the Tremelo system on some of the Ibanez guitars, very hard to tune. The bridge on this is very easy to tune. I will save the Whammy bar for Steve Vai.
Love this guitar
I have several guitars, Fender, Les Paul, ESP, Schecter. This is my first Ibanez. It is one of my favorite guitars. It is light, easy to play, sounds great and easy to tune.
If you buy an Ibanez watch out for the bridge, the Tremelo bridge systems are very very very painful to tune.
The bridge on this guitar will actually tune down to Eb or drop d in just a few minutes.
My only negative is lack of colors, can't really say I love the Surreal Blue Burst(Green), but it is OK.
