Fender Rumble 15 1 x 8-inch 15-watt Bass Combo Amp Reviews
Fender gives bassists of all levels a solid amp that can handle anything. Plug into the Fender Rumble 15 for serious bass tone in a compact package! This black beauty offers a basement-friendly 15 watts, letting you rock out without disturbing the neighbors. Shape your sound with the 3-band EQ, and practice along with your favorite tracks thanks to the 1/8" aux input. The single 8" speaker keeps your tone nice and punchy.
Awesome little amp
The amp arrived timely, was packaged with care and had a nice little bag of candy accompanied the amp. That was a nice surprise.
Fine bass amp.
Good thick rich bass sounds.Works well with bass processers.
Great
Love my Amp. But enjoyed the ordering experience more. Your team does great work with excellent follow up and follow through. Thanks!
Get the Rumble 25 instead..............
As others have mentioned, the sound out of this anemic for a "bass amp". There is not enough bass and the mids are way too hot. Very low quality sound. I ended up returning this for the Rumble 25 (with fingers crossed). Spend the extra bucks and get the Rumble 25 if you need a bass practice amp. THAT is what a bass practice amp should sound like, even on a 5 string.
great bass amp
This is a great practice amp not to loud but definitely loud enough, won't make the neighbors made.but you will get a good practice in and feel the bass and hear all of you tone.
Its fine
Got one second hand. It works OK. No overdrive. Absolutely will not keep up if you jam with someone playing a guitar. Works fine if you are playing by yourself with music on another speaker ok. Tends to fart out after 6/10 on volume.
Promises kept
For me the combination of Sweetwater and Fender mean top notch product and service. Good products with outstanding individual service is rare today but Sweetwater and Fender deliver.
Perfect for a new bass player
Great sound that is perfect for a new bass player! This amp is excellent for playing with the family or in community jams, and it is compact enough to fit well in a small bedroom. We're thrilled with our purchase and with the excellent customer service that Sweetwater provides (thanks, Corey!).
just ok
It's an ok little amp for the most part.I gave it 4 stars because after I use it for about 2 hours it seams to get a little bit of break up even using it at low volume but when I shut it off and un plug it for about 15 minutes I turn it back on and it gos back to sounding ok I think it's a het issue when using the head phone jack it sounds fantastic for as long as it is used over 2 hours and yes I tried different basses and cables with the same results. As always big 10 star rating for Sweetwater for there help and super fast shipping.
Great practice amp
Didn't expect much for under a hundred bucks, but pleasantly surprised. Puts out enough power in the music room to hear it clearly and has controls to adjust the sound I'm looking for. A real quality piece. I'd buy it again.
fender rumble 15
nice small amp, great sound and great for home or small venue.
Rumblin' On
This is the best low price bass amp you will ever find.I have always used bass amps with 2/15 or 1/15 speakers, mostly Peavy, Vox,Kustom,Crate,Ampeg Acoustic Research. I mostly use headphones with this Rumble 15, filling my head with the sweet bassman sound.
Nice amp
I like this amp. It's lite weight, good amount of volume, looks great! I just wish it had a little more bottom-end to it......
But I do like 'getting things' from Sweetwater!! Just wish these guys were around back in the day when I played a lot! Now I just play sporadically.....
Very good practice combo
I've had mine for years and it hasn't let me down yet. I set it to my liking while I practice, and I go for it. I've always wanted a small little practice Amp, and the Lord allowed me to get one. I recommend this little fellow to anyone....
Terrific Bass Amp
This Fender 15 Rumble Bass Amp to me is Terrific!
It Rumbles
This works great for practicing bass, and it can really project when you want it to!
Edward did it again
Master salesman Edward talked me into this little beauty to get me started on my bass thumping journey and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Edward, Mt downstairs neighbors might hate you, but I'm satisfied.
Great amp
Easy to use and can take anywhere since it's small.
Fabulous Amp
This amp is fantastic. just what i needed to replace my old Peavey 126. its small enough that is only takes up a little space but has big, clear sound. the built in EQ helps to dial in your tone. & the great work by Connor Smith at sweetwater got my amp here ahead of time.
GOOD LITTLE PRACTICE AMP FOR THE MONEY
Fender
Lasted three weeks then stopped working. Do not recommend.
Superb small personal practice amp!
After taking up playing bass I needed a small, personal practice amp that I could use in my office. The Rumble 15 works perfectly in my situation! A bass player buddy of mine has the Rumble 110. I borrowed it and while it worked well, I didn't need that much size and volume. I was surprised at how loud the Rumble 15 can get! It might be loud enough for a full band practice. No complaints here. Good bang for the value.
Demo like new
I decided to buy a demo bass amp for my first bass amp as a new player. This amp is exactly as advertise , it looks and plays like new. 100% satisfied.
Great bass amp
Great amp for practice. Thanks to Nick Blough for the fast shipping.
Great little practice amp
For it's size, it is more than loud enough for practicing at home or even playing in small bars if you'd like. I do feel the midrange is a bit too much, but that could just be a personal preference as well.
Perfect little apartment amp
I can practice w/o headphones by running BassBuzz through the aux jack. I can hear fine, and haven't gotten the ceiling knock from my downstairs neighbor.
Good practice amp
Good practice amp at a great price!
practice
me play bass not so good. small amp good for practice bass. practice more so can play more goodly.
Solid Practice Amp!
I've played keys and guitar for well over a decade, and while I've started learning bass for months now I've never actually owned a bass amp before. I have a vintage Rick that I got for free years ago and it sounds fantastic through this little amp. The school I work at uses these too, both for bass students but also in the drum rooms if you want to play a backing track through the amp via aux cable. For the price, portability, and sound, you can't go wrong!
It’s great
I know it's small and not much power. But for something to jam on it's great. Has a great sound and the bass sounds great though it. It is well worth checking out.
Nice
Great for the woodshed
Solid
It's very well built and makes a lot of sound for such a small and affordable amp. I'm a beginner and it's perfect for me.
fender rumbles
This lil bass amp is a perfect solution for a practice amp for a regular guitar !!!! Sounds very good too !!!
Perfect small practice amp
Yes, it doesn't have the overdrive or other features of the bigger Rumble models or other bass amps, but its hard to beat this little amp for practicing quietly in an apartment. Sounds full bodied with my 40th Anniversary Squier Jazz bass.
Fender has let me down
I have used Fender products for over 50 years. My recent purchase of a Fender Rumble 15 has been a total disappointment. It is no way a bass amp at any volume or setting and sounds more like a transistor radio. I have a
Rumble 40 which I like very much but Fender should not even make a product like this and advertise it as something it isn't.
Great amp
Very portable, great sound. I can adjust a few settings and plug in my guitar. Very simple controls. Great value.
just what i needed
i primarily play guitar, but add bass when recording songs. this little amp was just what i was looking for. good sound and all the volume i need when played thru my PA system. very happy. shout out to nick. he is always there to help me out.
Why do I need a review title?
This is my first amp from sweet water, and I'm satisfied with it. All I needed was a practice amp, and this is perfect for that. It is a little on the small side for a bass amp, but I don't mind because it still puts out great volume!
It sounds beautiful
My bass and amp got her with 2 days of free shipping.
That's sweetwater for ya. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers.
This amp sounds incredible. It's simplistic and it has that classic clean fender sound. No humming , buzzing , just the sound of my bass.
Thanks , Tomir and the Sweetwater team!
I got Sweetwater stickers all over my room. Haha
Short Lasting
This is a good starter amp and is good for how cheap it is, but after a year of owning it you will run it to a lot of problems. I have always taken care of my amp and have never turned the volume up past 25% but for whatever reason it somehow got blown out and is really quiet. For $ I would recommend by the acoustic starter bass amp.w
Solid tone
I love this thing
I actually use it as my practice amp for a Tagima 6 string Stratocaster. It's so clean.
Perfect little practice amp.
It sounds great and is plenty loud for my purposes which are practicing in my room. The front mesh grille comes off which confused me at first but it's velcroed on. I really like that the volume and equalizer knobs are on top. The auxiliary input on top was a nice touch.
Best Practice Amp
If you need a practice amp or just starting to play bass look no further. It does not get any better! I purchased mine 4 years ago and had 0 issues. I even took it to a small cocktail hour gig.
Little amp that could
Great sound, perfect for practice and jamming in small spaces.
Fender Rumble 15 1x8"
I'm extremely pleased! It's reasonably priced, beginner friendly, and it's very moble. ( small in size but BIG in sound )
Great product
I received the Fender Rumble15 1x8" 15-watt bass combo and as advertised it works great. I spent several hours enjoying the great sound. You can't go wrong with this product. Very satisfied customer here. Thanks Sweetwater.
Nice little practice amp
After many, MANY years, my little Peavey practice amp finally gave out on me so of course I needed a new amp to practice at home. I live in an apartment so I didn't need anything too fancy or anything that was going to break the bank. This amp is exactly what I needed. A nice little clean sounding amp that is a very good platform for pedals. It can actually get quite loud as well for an 8 inch speaker. It's also really light, so transporting it different places is a breeze!
Fender Rumble 15 1x8" 15-Watt Bass Combo
Just starting to play bass after 55 years of playing guitar. Bought this so I could play a Mustang PJ bass I bought.
Fender Rumble 15 is perfect for apartment practice
I have another amplifier in my apartment and live in a congested area of Atlanta. When using it, the amplifier was also picking up radio signal so a radio station would become more than alive especially during the weekday evenings. Just pure sound comes from this reasonably priced Fender Rumble 15 so I am so happy.
Terrible Amp
Do yourself a favor and ignore that this amp exists. Spend $20 more and get the Rumble 25, which sounds great and isn't too much larger in size. This amp sounds absolutely terrible. Tinny no matter how you adjust the settings. I own the Rumble 25, 100, and 500 and love them all. All that this amp has going for it is that it looks good.
Great apartment amp
This amp is just about perfect for playing in my one bedroom apartment without annoying the neighbors. Sounds much better than I expected considering the speaker size. Sweetwater is a pleasure to do business with.
disaster
No bass tone. Fender should be ashamed to put their logo on this amp. And I love Fender products.
Great little practice amp.
I needed an amp to take with me on vacation and business trips. This amp is very light and small so it is easy to fit in the packed car. Being a little amp with an 8 inch speaker, I was not expecting it to sound as good as it does. Was very surprised at how loud it can go, and how good it actually sounds for what it is. I like to play music off my phone into the aux input and play along with it. Works great for that. For the money, you can't go wrong with this one.
Fender Rumble 15 watt
Great for practice, love the sound.
Fender Rumble 15
A fine compact practice amp
Great Starter Bass Amp
The price is absolutely amazing, and provides good volume to get heard above other practice amps. Headphone jack makes it great to use when you need to be quieter and the auxiliary input is handy to practice along with recorded songs. My only issue with the amp is that it has a hard time with the E string. Doesn't put out as much volume at on about the first 3-4 frets.
Great Little Amp
I've enjoyed this little amp. I've even tipped it over and it held up great.
Great Little Amp
This amp sounds great and has pretty good tone for its size. You can tell that Fender really did quality improvements on the new Rumble series. The amp has suprisingly good tone that I might actually consider getting one of their bigger combos for smallers shows.
boom
For just 15 amps has a great sound
Rumble 15
This new version of the rumble is great. Better features and it's light. Plus is a great practice tool for home.
Nice Little Amp!
When you consider that this amplifier will cost you $79.99 with free shipping, you can't go wrong if you need a small practice amp that will give you enough volume for personal practice. Living in an apartment and not having the room to bring in one of my larger live performance amplfiers, yet needing something for personal rehearsal, this is the perfect amp. It's the right size, and considering it's only 15 watts with an 8" speaker it sounds pretty good. It doesn't have much in the bottom end, but hey... it's 15 watts with an 8" speaker. All in all... this was a great buy and I give it two thumbs up. It's perfect for my needs.
Rumble 15 amp
Disappointed, but then again, you get what you pay for.
Fender Rumble 15 1x8" 15-Watt Bass Combo
fantastic sound and price.i use this with a hollow body bass and can go from the sound of a solid body to a hollow body. even produces the sounds of a tube amp.i'm very impressed by this compact amp.
Fantastic practice amp
I love this little amp--it sounds great for practice, especially in a small apartment, and I have to say, as a beginning bass player, I appreciate the deep rich sound, easy use, sounds great in the headphones, and picks up the lower end of the bass so well--thanks for a great price too.
Great Practice Amp
My Little Fender
Excellent small amp for the money. Fender, you're still doing it after all these years. The amp itself sounds very good and doesn't take up a lot of space OR weigh much if you need to take it places.
A great, not so little, amp.
Great practice amp and one that can also be used for small gatherings. Has a nice mellow tone. Packs a punch for it's size.
Fair enough for this money :)
I'm using the amp to play at home and it's more than ok. I would say it's made for that purpose, and that's it. So if you're expecting to play with other people, maybe it's a bit short and you should look for something else.
But, as I said, fair enough for this money.
nice size, nice price, nice sound
I wanted a small just to use for practice. It fills the bill. service is top notch.
Good little amp...
Got this amp to go with a small used bass I got for my grandkids to learn on while they jam with me. Got enough umph to blow us out around the firepit in the back yard without getting on the neighbors' nerves. Is also a perfect companion to my other small amps/guitars for our jam sessions. For our purposes and the cost it can't be beat!
Thank you Sweetwater for excellent prices and customer service!
