I know Lacie has always been recommended for music production. The price was great but it takes forever when you're initially downloading plugins and getting it setup. Any comments from anyone that has experienced the same issue?

Lost data on these time n time again, had to get a SSD, didn't drop or move and failed used insurance again did the same thing

Great external hard drive!
I needed a new hard drive that was reliable and durable. I've had other LaCie drives and they all served me well so I decided to go with this drive. This one was very easy to set-up and get my important files backed-up. The 5TB's should be plenty big for my needs and the file transfer rate is pretty fast. It's fits nicely in my laptop bag for when I go mobile too! Highly recommend for backing up files or even running virtual instruments. Thanks Sweetwater!
Really good for the price
it's nice a durable and even comes with a 1 year subscription to adobe creative cloud with all apps which is a steal

I have used many Lacie drives and they are always reliable. I'm using this one as a backup drive. I strongly recommend them for DJ usage.
