great. this handles my needs beautifully, and it's an elegant little machine.

I will begin using this for remote interviews for my radio show. Preamps are clean with plenty of gain. I did a experimental show recorded it to a 1TB SSD drive. Import to Pro Tools was seamless wave file clean.

My goal was to get my voice sounding deep bright like Howard Stern or most professional broadcasters. I use it for making videos on social media sites. It was a difficult task going through reviews etc . I started with an I rig pre hd running through garage band to get the vocal effects to get that broadcast sound. When recording the videos while monitoring with headphones it sounded awesome. Then when I played back video the effects were not recorded.. Frustrating , contacted. I rig and they were like you need the I rig with loop back. So I saw the rode Duo called the tech department and explained I want what I hear through my headphones to sound the same when recorded. He Assured me it will . All I needed was an apple camera adapter since I was recording with my iPhone 13 max which has a lightning port . This thing is amazing with massive affects that give you the pro broadcast sound.

It works straight do you need to step up once you understand it I feel comfortable using it even as a disabled person hard for me once I learn something have somebody set up once and seeing that done this one would be easy to set up also easy to transfer files thank you to the sales team and their videos were very very they could you could you could understand that very easily and know how to use this device I recommended to anyone that needs this type of product

I bought this back in February. Within 2-3 weeks, the power supply failed. With Sweetwater's expert help, I was able to get a replacement sent to me, but it took a significant amount of time for something I needed to have working. Now it's September and my Rodecaster Duo won't boot. It hangs on the loading screen. I've followed the guide from Rode and it has not resolved the issue. A week ago I submitted a ticket and, despite assurances of getting back to me in 1-2 business days, they have not. I submitted another ticket.

When it's working, it works wonderfully. Unfortunately, I've lost faith I can rely on this product. I've had two show stopping fails. Luckily I had enough older gear I could cobble back into production to keep working, but I'll likely start looking for a competitor's replacement. Anyone can get a lemon and that might be the case here, but I expected better support from such a significant company.

I have mine connected to Audition and took off.
It sounds great and simple to operate. I have the advantage of having several different Rode Pro and Pro 2 in our school's 8 studios, so set up is easy.

Love the fact that I can use my sm7b without having to fool with a cloud lifter. The sound is crystal clear. The RCD is a quality piece of equipment! Sweetwater service was, as always, superb!

The Rodecaster Duo couldn't fit my needs better. I'm so glad I purchased this. The built-in effects and presets are amazing and completely programmable. I've all but eliminated the need to add plugin effects in my DAW. The preamps are efficient and low noise and drive my SM7B mics without the need for an inline Cloudlifter. The included preset for my NT1 mics makes them sound even better than they do out of the box. Thank you RØDE for this and thank you Sweetwater for such a great buying experience!

After a 50 year career in broadcasting, podcasting and all things audio, I've struggled with mix minus, sometimes weak/noisy preamps, not enough headphone amps, excessive patching and other hassles.

Now along comes this little gem -- easy to set-up, fast to use and surprisingly clean, clean audio. All in a sweet little footprint. I would recommend to students and jaded pros alike. For simple podcasts, voiceovers and other light duties, it's all that you'll need -- and then some.

Smaller is sometimes better. In this case, it could not be more true. I LOVE the RodeCaster Pro II, but it's more than I needed regarding channels and overall size.

The Duo is absolutely everything I need, and in the compact form factor, I always wished the Pro II was as it hung off my desk.

An absolute gem as it's exactly as functional as its big brother. 100% SOLID and a must-have for those like me.
