You also get a built-in CabClone IR, a serial effects loop, a headphone output, and a 1-button footswitch. So what are you waiting for? Badboy

By Scott Wild from MN on December 19, 2022 Music Background: What I love to do when not working my day job.

It's all in the dialing, and this Badboy can be dialed up from whisper quiet to power stage and crystal clean to heavy metal. Maximum tonal control. Running BigSky, Timeline, H9, and Thorpy Camoflange in the effects loop. Very quiet and they never sounded better. Add to that the DI, headphone out, and Cabclone IRs-which, when dialed up, sound very good for digital. Day or night, jamming or recording, this Badboy is willing and able. Very satisfied and, as always, my satisfaction starts with friendly, helpful, and superior customer service from Mark Johnson at Sweetwater!

MOST CERTAINLY PLAYS METAL

By Sweetwater Customer from CA on March 10, 2022 Music Background: 20+ years of guitar playing across the country

Whoever said this amp doesn't play metal is incorrect. It does. And does it well. New metal? Not exactly, but everything else is covered. From clean to metal, it's there. If you want super high gain for new metal, get a pedal. This is a killer amp that gets overlooked. For a Boogie that's attempting to go after the Marshall tone, this puppy still has that beautiful Boogie bark and low end! American metal tone by Boogie. Buy one, you deserve it.
