Saved my butt!
I was hired to do a 40 chapter book for an elderly gentleman that I worked with many times before however he had just been recovering from throat surgery period as a result of his surgery he had a lot of pops and clicks in his voice and I was taking them out one at a ti'm inside of a project that was very very big period I tried outhe noise reduction circuit on this product and within a couple of minutes found a way to get it to completely block all of those clicks and pops! This saved me hours and hours of time I love all of the isotope products and use them everyday, Especially the ozone 11 thanks guys!Richard Livoni
Exceptional at Removing 60 Cycle Hum
TLDR: Buy this. No other plugin, free or paid, can do what this can to remove excessive noise.
Longer review: I have a beautiful '52 reissue Telecaster that is perfect in every way except for the aggressive 60 cycle hum. I have other guitars with single coils that buzz, of course, but no other guitar I own is nearly as loud or as intense as my '52. That speaks to the authenticity of the build, as others who have a similar reissue model have reported the same thing. (It makes sense...as the years went on, pickup manufacturers and guitar builders have found ways to lessen the hum from single coils, but in 1952, that was uncharted territory.) The tone of the '52 is so sweet that it's worth tolerating the hum in a live situation, but on a recording the noise is unbearable – even when playing.
For years I've tried to EQ it out on recordings, and while some surgical work lessens the buzz, it never has been satisfactorly eliminated. Even worse, EQing it out, no matter how precise, takes something away from the guitar tone. After getting an amazing deal on RX Elements, I no longer have this problem. The hum is gone and the guitar tone does not suffer one bit. It also is crazy fast to accomplish...I am able to remove the hum within 5 seconds of opening the plugin, almost every time.
If you need more detail in fixing sound issues, RX Standard and Advanced remain peerless in the industry. But for me, who only really needs to deal with issues like hum, RX elements was the perfect purchase.
If you're on this page and unsure whether to buy this plugin, let this review be the one that enthusiastically encourages you to do so. You won't regret it.
Does what it says
I was looking for a plugin that would reduce the ground floor noise coming from my microphone. This worked exactly as I wanted it to.
Not a magic bullet
It works, but it isn't significantly better than any of the free software that does similar stuff
