They're Really Good
I've been using these strings for a little over a year now. At first they were rough on the fingers, but that's not necassarily a downside. The strings never really go 'dead'. They have a really wonderful tone throughout their life.

The La Bella RX series are some of the best bass strings on the market. I've used both nickel and stainless steel. They are long-lasting and they feel amazing. The set I have my bass now have lasted me 4+ months, and they still feel and sound great (I play just about every day). The description doesn't say, but the core is a hex core. It helps prevent buzzing, but it also gives the strings more of a bite compared to round core strings. Really tasteful when digging in.
