I Should Have Done This Sooner
Things I like about it over my old metronome. 1. It has a belt clip (note: get a 1/8"/3.5mm earpiece. Then you can clip the metronome to your belt and run the earpiece cord under your shirt and into your ear, discrete and out of the way.) 2. It has a little thumb wheel to adjust the beat and you don't have to hold down a tiny little button. 3. It has different rhythms which make it easier to track both the upbeat and the downbeat not to mention the music. 4. It didn't cost me a hundred bucks
Can't beat it!
It's really handy, inconspicuous, and inexpensive.
Excellent
Very easy to use! Very good product! Don't hesitate to purchase this
Perfect!
It clips right onto a music stand (no extra mounting necessary) and has all the features I need to count the band off at the right tempos. It's perfect for the job!
Just Enough Technology
I've used the TAMA RW 30 for several months now. It's exactly what I hoped for. Easy to use. Easy to read.
I own too many metronomes! The Boss DB-60 is one. I use it when rhythms get complex. BUT, it's far too complicated for most applications. Too much technology for a simply problem. Mostly I need two and three beat rhythms with a quickly adjustable tempo control. The TAMA RW 30 does that for me.
No more fussing around with lots of adjustments to get what I want. For 90% of what I do, the TAMA serves the purpose perfectly. Yes, I'll use the complex metronomes like the DB-60 on occasion. But that high-powered artillery isn't helpful when you are just trying to work through tunes.
The TAMA RW30 is just enough technology to get the job done without a lot of button pushing and scrolling through menus.
I like it a lot!
I like several things about this metronome. I like that it has a thumb wheel to adjust the tempo. There is no holding down a tiny little button until you get to here you want to be. It is fast and easy peasey. I like the different rhythm patterns. I like the price! sh that they had included an earpiece with it. They are all over the internet at less than a dollar, so why do they put an earphone jack on the device and not include an earphone. If they had done that, I would have given them 5 stars.
Very disappointed!!!
Received this as a Christmas gift from my musician/son. Defective product-didn't work
at all. Tried included batteries and several fresh
batteries, proper polarity with all, but no response from this unit. Also disappointed because I own a Tama kit which l really love. Returned it today. Would not recommend at all. Ended up downloading a percussion metronome app on my phone, which works well-should have gone in this direction to begin with.
