What a great drum set. If you tune it just right. It sounds like that $ set.
Good beginner drums
The drums themselves are great, but the hi hat and crash are cheap, and don't sound too good, (although the good thing is they can only get dented like crazy, but they can't break if you simply pound on it.) The heads aren't anything special, just simple 1-ply plastic heads. These are great beginner drums, don't get me wrong, but they're the bare minimum if you're just starting out. This is my first drum set but I've played multiple other kits that are used for recording, and have good accessories, so this isn't anything special. They're good drums if you are going to replace the heads and cymbals with something better. It would be one more star if the cymbals were better, and harder.
