used in a sound room at church. Lifted components off the desk and above the mixer. 4u of lift, and 4u of components. Used some small peices of wood for a base on each side. Holes lined up and did not bind. Did exactly what I needed for very little money.
Screws and build size.
If you're going to build a rack you need to understand that 19" for rack size will be to small as these rails seem to be thicker then other rack rails. I had to rebuild. I ended up with a with of 19 1/4. ALSO you need to buy Middle Atlantic screws as normal size rack screws don't work.You can also take the rail to a hardware store to match screw size.
