The dvs and features work great but the phono option to play regular vinyl has sound quality issues. anything 12oclock and up on master will distort sound on phono option . Best bet is to unplug deck A & B via USB and problem goes away when playing vinyl unless i just have a faulty mixer.. my setup is the rp 8000mk2s with this mixer...

I got this mixer two weekends ago from Sweetwater and I'm happy I purchased it. It is built like a tank and has every feature the digital, as well as analog DJ could ever want. Small details like split cue and AUX inputs are what makes this mixer a homerun in every category. One of the most amazing features it offers is that if you're using analog vinyl, you can use Serato's effects with it. Simply tap in the BPM and activate the effect on the channel the real vinyl is spinning on. That's an amazing feature and I don't think any other mixer in this category offers that. It puts the hardware effects other mixers use for analog vinyl to shame. The Innofader Pros are buttery smooth and they are easy to replace as they are not soldered onto the mainboard. This means that that portion of the mixer is modular and should it fail in the future, it won't be a headache to fix it yourself. The way the mixer handles looping is superior to the way the DJM-S9 and Rane 70 do it, as the Elite uses a knob to adjust the loop length as opposed to buttons. This is a much smoother way of doing it and may DJ outlets agree on that. The effects don't use paddles, but the button operation on the Elite for effects is very intuitive and placed well on the mixer. The drum pads are very big and high quality. It's easy to do cue play, pitch play, among other pad uses and they feel good to hit on. I wish I could give this mixer 10 stars as it's really that good. Extremely underrated and a lot of DJs are sleeping on it. Those in the know realize the Reloop Elite is at the top of it's class and it's definitely a mixer you should take a look at. This mixer is amazing!! First let me say thanks to Aaron for working to get it into my hands as soon as possible. I really appreciate that. Now to the mixer. I upgraded from a Numark Scratch DJ Mixer and while that mixer was serviceable, this Reloop Elite blows it out of the water. It should it's 3x the price. The mixer feels sturdy with high quality parts everywhere. The pads feel amazing and are a joy to drum on, the sound is absolutely incredible. I have Sennheiser HD25s and while they sounded OK on the Scratch, they sound amazing on this mixer! The sound processing hardware in this thing is top notch! Standard vinyl sounds great as well. Speaking of that, this mixer allows you to use Serato FX on standard vinyl! Every single effect seems to work. Just tap in the bpm or adjust it with the dial, and activate the effect. Now you have to have your laptop open with Serato runnning, but I usually mix standard vinyl with DVS digital music anyway so this is perfect for me! I was going to wait for the Rane 70 but I'm glad I didn't. I mainly wanted hardware effects for standard vinyl is why I was upgrading. The 70 has some hardware effects, but being able to use EVERY Serato effect really blows away the 70s 6 or so hardware effects. Anyway, I highly recommend this mixer. I hope it holds up for a while. The Innofaders are great and you can replace them individually should the need arise. No soldering required. A++ Mixer!
