This cover for my Reloop RP7000MK2 fits perfectly. Simple install. Sturdy. It does smear/scratch somewhat, but it's also easy to clean. With the RP7000 turntable, you can set the counterweight pretty far back.... be careful doing so, as there's not enough clearance with the cover down for the turntable to finish a record if. It will skip. Other than that rookie mistake, I really enjoy the product.

I bought this Reloop dust cover to replace the old worn out dust cover for my Technics SL-1200 MkII after visiting the Reloop store and seeing in their review section that it was supposed to "fit perfectly". Do NOT believe it. Their first reviewer says to disregard that there are 4 holes in the new hinge bracket and to only use the top two holes. HOWEVER, the distance between the holes in the original bracket and the ones in the Reloop bracket are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND THEY CANNOT BE USED WITH THE OLD INTERNAL HINGE PLATES AS STATED! In order to use this dust cover and its hinges I would have to modify the turntable in some way (by drilling 8 new holes and tapping them out with new threads) or coming up with my own new internal plates for the screws to go into also with 8 holes drilled and tapped with threads. Or perhaps epoxying the new hinge brackets to the back of the turntable. I got this dust cover because they advertised that it is SO EASY to install on a Technics SL-1200 MkII. That is a LIE! By the way, the serial number of my turntable indicates it was manufactured on April 11, 1983. What a pain in the ***. It's always great to do business with honest folks, you know? Thanks a lot.

Easy to install and Works as described!

I had no problem installing these on my Technics.
They come with their own hinges, so of course one has to remove any old hardware. The cover is a hair wider than the player, so it's easy to get a grip on it, to open and close, while the rubber bumpers reliably land on the player.

I have a Technics SL-1200 MK5 and needed a new dust cover.
I refuse to pay $... for an OEM/old Technics branded dust cover.

At $... the Reloop dust cover was much cheaper, although it's still expensive for a piece of plastic, in my opinion.

I noticed the other review here says it fits the Technics SL-1200 perfectly. That is NOT the case with an MK5 variant.

The dust cover barely fits (it's almost too big), and there is absolutely no way to mount the hinges (they are also too big). The holes line up on the bracket ok, but the assembly itself just won't work with hinges.

For now, I'll just use the dust cover as Technics intended (with no hinges).

You'll have to remove the old hinges to use this cover if you've got 1200s but it's a perfect fit and after many years of collecting dust under the platter etc this machine will finally stay clean. Looks nice too!
