The RPB-500PE is arguably Roland’s finest bench for the discerning pianist/keyboardist. Its cushioned seat will keep you comfy during long sessions, and it lifts to reveal an inner storage compartment for accessories and sheet music. Since the RPB-500PE is constructed from solid wood and weighs 24.25 pounds, you can rest assured (literally) that it will not move unless you want it to. Finally, a polished ebony finish adds a luxurious final touch.

Justifiable upgrade
When Roland delayed shipping of the typically included bench with the HP piano, we opted to substitute the RPB-500. It is very comfortable and having the height adjustment is very much appreciated. Thanks to the Sweetwater crew for coming up with a solution! They're fantastic!!!!
comfortable, but creaky
This bench is comfortable but tends to be creaky, with the creaks resonating quite loudly when shifting your weight. Adjusting it now and then alleviates the creakiness. It would not be ideal for performance and is borderline annoying for home practice. The creakiness clearly comes from the parts that make this bench adjustable.
