Came with a Behringer drum mic kit I got off here and these are built definitely tough enough for my home studio uses, and unless im putting a 5 pound microphone on the end, it seems to hold weight just find without sagging. I will be sticking to these for my studio because they are half the price of the Gator ones and seem just fine.

This is a decent stand for the money. It is exactly as described and seems to be made a little better than its competitors in its price range.

It's very solid, works well, easy to adjust and manage.

I bought this mic stand as a part of a sweetwater bundle that included an SM57 and a 20ft XLR cable and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised with its overall quality. When compared to the Gator Frameworks mic stands that retail for twice the price, these hold their own and achieve the same end goal: hold my mic in place without sagging overtime, and remain stable under the weight of the microphone. The Gator product will last longer and is built to higher standard, but the Rok-it thrives in an environment such as my home studio where all i need it to do is hold my relatively light weight dynamic mics. I cannot comment on the stands ability to hold up to the rigors of gigging, but I can say for home studio application, there doesn't seem to be a point in spending the extra money on the gator stands unless you plan on using them for a heavy microphone like a large diaphragm condenser.
