Ibanez Prestige RG5121 Electric Guitar - Burgundy Metallic Flat Reviews
If you’re searching for a tame guitar, then look elsewhere. The Ibanez Prestige RG5121 is anything but. Its African mahogany body is resonant as all get out, supplying you with a solid tonal base to work from. Beyond that, its Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers churn out aggressive yet articulate high-gain tones that are sure to impress. You’ll experience a major speed boost, too, thanks to a comfortable 5-piece Super Wizard HP neck and fast-playing Macassar ebony fretboard. Tuning stability is rock solid, thanks to a Gibraltar II hardtail bridge, and Gotoh locking tuners make string changes effortless. Luminlay side dots and an attractive satin finish round out the RG5121’s prestigious features.

First off thank you to Loui for stepping up and making this guitar purchase happen.
This guitar rocks. Hard. What you see is what you get and it is nothing short of amazing. I don't believe any guitar is "perfect" for many reasons, but the bottom line with this one: It punches way up.
For all of genres, or anything of the like, that you sacrifice playing when you buy this guitar.. it makes up for with what it does best. Rock and metal. It has that "I do one thing and I do it great" feel and sound.
For me this is not only a bedroom guitar but one I bring to practices, jams, and will without question play it live. Already put a nice little ding on it. More to come.
A few things I noticed besides how much I love it.
1) It's pretty heavy. Even with a nice thick strap I can start to feel the weight on my shoulder after a couple hours of playing.
2) The tone toggle is minute but noticeable. I seem to notice the tone change with this feature the most playing with headphones through plug ins. Not a big difference especially at live volumes. Maybe just me?
3) Little bit of fret sprout. Was kind of disappointing for a prestige series but could be specifically the one I got to be fair. Again, the guitar is just too good for me to even worry about this currently. I don't have this issue with my other electrics however so it stands out a little.
4) Tuning stability. It just stays. Hours of playing through a set list and it barely moves.
Anyways if you're on the fence with this guitar and play anything high gain. Just do it. You will not regret.

Outstanding guitar!
Been eyeing this guitar for a while now and it exceeds my expectations! Everything is perfect. Thanks to my sales engineer, Jacob, for assisting me all throughout.
Outstanding
I absolutely love this guitar. I bought it to replace my 20 year old favorite(cheep) ibanez. The neck feel unbelievable like the a polished pool cue. I can easily remember the feel of the old MIJ ibanezs while plying this. I was a little worried if I'd like the 17 inch radius, And I can hardly notice a difference. It feels amazing. I love the weight and tone of the mahogany. These are my first Fishmans and coming from black outs and invaders. These fill the bill perfectly. Very crisp and clean( I only play metal) the fret board is black as black can be and the frets are awesome.
I had sweetwater set mine up in drop c# and I've zero complaints about the set up. Sweetwater came through for me on this one, love you guys.
