Recording Customs
I purchased the 8,10,14,16,22 piano black configuration. The construction quality and paint is incredible. They changed the bearing edges and birch plies. I encourage everyone to do their own research on this kit. I have had many kits over the years including DW Collectors and this is absolutely my favorite kit. Sweetwater was very supportive with my purchase. They also let me open every box at their warehouse right after I purchased the kit. Warehouse personnel so nice about it. I actually drove several in to Sweetwater as I did not want these shipped during the winter. I wanted to protect the shells from the cold weather. Gadd plays a 20" brass but otherwise the identical kit Steve Gadd plays (minus the snare). I love this kit!

I waited a while to receive my piano black Recording Custom 4 piece shell pack , I also ordered the 8" tom to go with them.... Well it was more than worth the wait , Pictures will not do my set justice ... Extremely well made , heavy beautiful Yamaha's .. I was so so impressed when I opened the cartons and pull these babies out... You will not make a mistake ordering this set .... I,m in love and it will only get better.. As someone said " If your on the fence JUMP" Yeah baby !! I will buy all my Drums and accessories from Sweetwater , Thank You Jon Chordas Sales Engineer
