Set of 3 Pedal Risers for RockBoard Pedalboards

Pedalboard planning offers various challenges for any player, especially when it comes to footswitch access on the back rows of your pedalboards. For RockBoards in particular, Sweetwater’s guitar players recommend the Step Up Pedal Riser to give your pedals the boost they need for easy access. The Step Up Pedal Riser Kit includes the Step Up 1, Step Up 2, and Step Up 3 risers that attach to your RockBoard pedalboard with either the included screws or hook-and-loop tape to offer an elevated height to mount your pedals that also use the QuickMount system. No more accidentally pressing the footswitches on your bottom row of pedals or adding additional pedal switchers — the RockBoard by Warwick Step Up Pedal Riser Kit boosts your pedals up where they need to be to activate accurately.

Riser Screw Holes Don't Line up with Quad 4.2

By James T. from Centennial, CO

Purchase the Rockboard Quad 4.2 for it's size and modularity, added the Mod 3 v.2, the Step up riser kit and an additional Step Up 3. Love the Quad and the Mod. The intent was to mount the (2) Riser 3s and the (1) Riser 1 across the top of the Quad with the included screws. With a 1/4" to spare on each side they appeared to fit perfectly. Then I discovered the Riser top and bottom screw holes do not line up with the Quad's horizontal metal below. IN ANY POSITION! I found myself rechecking several times because I could not believe Warick would be this stupid or worse indifferent. They are.

If you don't care about location you can position a riser to get an addition top or bottom screw in a vertical grid section.

Since there are Rockboard products that were specifically designed to snap into the grid pattern, I suspect this issue might not apply to just the Quad 4.2.

Since none of this is a option for me and I am already too far into the build to return the whole kit, I have decided to try screwing in just the top screws with a 1/4" or so overhang across the top of the Quad and Velcro the bottom. I hope my mild OCD will let it go.

Obviously, either no one at Warick discovered this obvious flaw or more likely decided to sell them anyway and literally and figuratively, screw the customer. I never thought I would say this about a Warick product but buyer beware.
