Retro Modern Looking and Sounding Tremolo

By Bill H. from Charlotte, NC
Music Background: Guitarist for 60 years and Reverbnation Artist

My 6L6 powered Mesa Fillmore has a built in spring reverb tank, but I wanted to give it more of a Deluxe Reverb vibe and this TC took it to that place nicely. I use it in the effects loop where it's clean, rich and full sounding and it works great there. The tap tremolo and subdivisions are a nice addition too. The modern chop tremolo sounds are there as well. I use a very subtle amount of it always on. I liked it so well that I bought another one for a second amp. It looks very cool, retro, well built and the TC TonePrint App is great for adding different flavors to your sonic palette. Nice price too, so yeah I like it!

Surf's Up!

By George L. from LEBANON, OR

I was lucky enough to get a 'demo' unit (new ones are currently backordered) and I don't think that it had ever been unboxed before! I've read somewhere that a Tremolo is often one of the 1st pedals that many people get. No so in my case, For years, I spent a lot of my time in overdrive/distortion/fuzz territory along with boosts and some other modulation and amp emulation type pedals before I decided that I really wanted to play surf like the Ventures, Dick Dale, along with songs like the Surfaris 1963 hit 'Wipeout'. As usual TC does not disappoint as they nailed the sound that I was looking for when played through my Strat. The pedal is very quiet and plays well with my other pedals as well. TC has a number of TonePrints for this pedal that I'll eventually try. Tip - I use Windows with a USB cable to transfer TonePrints to a pedal as I find it a lot less hassle then the 'Beaming' method via a phone. The pedal even comes with a USB cable which is nice. One of the best features of this pedal is that TonePrints are optional really and not required to get full use out of the pedal. There is also a switch inside that can get you buffered bypass should you need it. There is a small instruction book that comes with the pedal, however the full manual is to be found online. I like the 'Square' setting, but that's just my personal preference. If you want to play Surf music, this pedal is very versatile two thumbs up choice.

Love Tremelo

By John K. from Indianapolis

I am a player that really likes vintage sounds from my guitars, amp, and effects. I seek out equipment that gives, both me and the audience, the best classic sounds from the 50's and 60's. The Pipeline Tremelo is one of the effects that I regularly use. I love a warm tremolo vibe for many songs that have a goodly, mellow feel. I also often sue it as a subtle feature for ambient instrumentals. This pedal delivers on classic sounds that I love, but also offers a lot of variation for those who want to move in more aggressive and progressive directions. I just ordered it from Sweetwater hoping it would live up to the videos and on-line reviews. It did. Right away I achieved the main sounds I wanted. Thanks to Sweetwater for making the purchase easy and delivery reliable and speedy.

Another excellent TC pedal

By Bruce from Fort Worth
Music Background: Intermediate guitarist

I currently have 2 other TC pedals inline with this one. The Pipeline was an excellent fit with the Mojomojo and Spark boost. I am still experimenting with it and I have barely scratched the surface. It gives me the tone I want for a very subtle tremelo with no excess noise or volume loss.
A 5 star rating may be more appropriate but my ignorance of other tremolo pedals, I have no reference to compare.
I am very satisfied with it and excited to see what I can do with it.

Awesome new tremolo!

By John H. from Athens, GA

I got this pedal last week, and I'm really liking it. IMO, the tap feature alone makes it worth the price, but the Vintage and Square waveform settings, note subdivisions, and unlimited TonePrint capabilities make this an excellent pedal. Yeah, I recommend it.
