Casio Privia PX870 review

By Sweetwater Customer on November 14, 2020

Originally I wanted to buy a Yamaha DGX660, but all retailers had backordered them. I understand that a lot of manufacturing facilities worldwide have been so affected by the novel coronavirus that production has been extremely limited, not just on musical instruments but in a lot of areas. So I began to review other options, and came across Youtube reviews on the Casio Privia PX-870. I was looking for a white piano and after seeing all the reviews of Casio's flagship digital piano, I bought one. I was very pleased with the quality of the sound, the weighted keys, and how the keys respond just like an acoustic piano would. Even though this piano lacks drums, finger chords and rythms and the like, the sounds that this piano produces is very impressive. I highly recommend this piano for home, for school, for houses of worship or anywhere that a realistic sounding keyboard is desired. I have been a Sweetwater customer for years, and they have always suggested options, and they have not disappointed with this one!
