I have a lot of effects pedals. I had the original D'Addario Board, but needed more space. My Sweetwater Sales Engineer (SE) (a great SE; I can't say enough positive about him and how he helped me over a few months - he's Payton Vieth, really the best!) recommended the D'Addario Core Board Expansion Kit 02. His recommendations have been excellent, so I got it. It fit the bill exactly.

I didn't give it the highest rating because the D'Addario designers who created it made it difficult to assemble, or de-assemble. The extension rods are fine and fit well. It is the metal plates that go into the extension, and at the end of the board that, I believe, need to be redesigned so that they are easier to work with.

Finally, the machine screws that D'Addario provides are too small. Also, the holes they screw into thread easily. Two of the screws, after being put in and then taken out, were unusable when I wanted to put them in again. It's a simple flaw. In redesigning the metal plates, I recommend that D'Addario use bigger screws that are easier to start in their holes.

Otherwise, a good product. I would recommend it to others with a cautionary addendum due to the problems I experienced with it.
