I found this useful for action height. It's not super precise, but probably accurate enough for most. It would be nice if the edges and corners were 'softened' to reduce the risk of scratching. Also, they could skip trying to make it a swiss army knife, with wrenches and screwdrivers. Seems to me that anyone putting this much effort into their set up would be willing to use the correct tools.

This is the best one!
I have several similar string gauges of stainless steel about the size of a credit card, unfortunately bought elsewhere before I got this one. The D'Addario is the best - it is a thicker steel, 0.044" as opposed to 0.024", it's easier to read with just one thin line for string heights as opposed to like a bar graph, and it has 3 handy wrenches and 2 screwdriver blades on it that can actually be of some use due to the thicker and sturdier steel construction.
Plus the shipping is free. I think I'll order several more at this price which was about the same as the inferior ones!
Best String Gauge I own
Anyone with a guitar knows how important and essential a string gauge is for many different reasons. Most important for me at least, and maybe others too, is double checking your string action is where it should be. You can try using foreign objects that MAY… may come close to measuring your string action but never quite give you a good reading, or just spend the small price and forever have a tool that will be one of the most important things you grab for before you go onstage or start practice in the privacy of your own home.
