First, use the Restore formula to remove grime and minor scratches. Second, apply the premium Carnauba wax to add extra shine to the finish. Finally, use the shine spray cleaner to cut through fingerprints and enhance the instrument's natural color. When that's done, dab hydrating fingerboard oil to restore your fretboard to peak condition. If you care as much about your instrument's finish as Sweetwater does, D'Addario is the way to go.

Nice Detail Kit, But The Wax...
... takes a LOT of buffing to get off. Otherwise, this multistep kit really does the job. I usually use a tin of caruba max made for scale models, which is the old "let dry, buff off" type. This wax seems to smear around for a while as you work it. Having said that, the spray cleaner appears to have some wax in it, and takes the place of the actual wax step, while also cleaning. Was glad to find that it has the exact scent of a turtle wax spray I'm almost out of, which was a pleasant surprise. I've used Martin, Dr. Duck's, and a formula sold as a house brand by a local guitar shop, and I'd gladly reach for the D'Addario first, when cleaning up the instruments after a night at the brewpub.
