A tangled rat's nest of maddening furstration, right out of the box
I've been on a quest to find guitar cables that don't spontaneously twist themselves into impenetrable knots during simple studio use. I have never coiled this cable, so the usual "You're wrapping it incorrectly" response is not applicable here. This this has basically been on my studio floor plugged into a single guitar and pedalboard for the last 3 days, and lo and behold, it is now a spontaneous mass of twisted cobras.
Seriously, what is it with cable manufacturers?
Quality Cable
Quality cable with heavy duty connectors, should hold up for a long time. Great customer service as usual; ordered it late Friday and rec'd it on Monday Northern Indiana to Central KY in that time was only possible because of the quick shipment after I ordered it
Solid Quality Cable
This cable has been serving its purpose well. It's well built and feels sturdy. It definitely reduced the noise I hear. Also the momentary switch is not a gimmick, I find it really useful to avoid all those popping sounds. I'm giving 4.5 as the cable took a long time to soften, which I think is good but also slightly irritating.

This is a perfect cord for working musicians switching instruments without the need to turn down the volume.
