what a gem!
Every band I engineer always comment on how good the foldbacks are. I tell them what I paid and they are speechless. I have 2 for my small PA rig and they perform brilliantly
Great monitors
Well worth the money, they do the job their supposed to do.There light enough, easy to handle. I would have liked to had a volume control on these speakers. I would recommend these speakers and sweetwater, a very good company to buy from.
The sales staff will go above and beyond. Andy Rice is my sales person a knowledgeable good person. What I like is you always get the same sales person.
Nice monitor for the money
I've been using two of these monitors at band practice for the past 6 months. We have run bass guitar and my kick drum through them with no problems, although I did have to replace the horn diaphragm in one of the monitors. Sound Guard™ IV high-frequency driver protection let me down. I ordered a new 14XT diaphragm from Guitar Center and it's sounding good again. I plan on buying two more of these monitors soon. I've been powering them with a Crown Micro-Tech 1200 and am using a Yamaha MG24/14FX mixer.
A solid choice for the cash
These monitors are much, much better than some of the cheaper brands out there, yet they don't cost that much more. It's true that they probably aren't as good as, say, a JBL, but you pay more for the JBLs. They're a great value and work flawlessly. They're also easy to transport from gig to gig, not too heavy, look cool, and seem sturdy. I've gigged with them about six or seven times so far and practiced with them quite a bit. We use them mostly for vocals, which they do well on, and some guitars and keyboards. We don't run bass through the monitors, but I hooked these up to my bass head to try them out, and they sounded fine.
