Exact fit.
These pickups are an exact fit for a Squier Affinity Jazz 5 bass. The screws went back in the same holes. Very easy install. I upgraded to CTS pots, Switchcraft input jack and a .47 UF capacitor. Sounds great through my Fender Rumble 500 amp.

Great sounding pickups!
I bought these to replace the pickups in my 2017 Elite Jazz Bass V, one of which died out of warranty. Since I couldn't get an exact replacement I opted for these and I'm glad I did. They are similar to the Elite pickups but noticeably richer in the midrange and a bit more musical overall. The noiseless aspect is a plus, of course. They come with wire-to-PCB (printed circuit board) connectors, so if you're using them with solder connections you have to snip off the connectors and trim the wires - not a big deal but just an FYI.

I was looking for a quiet but higher output pickup for a Squier VM V Jazz bass. I have used SD 1/4 pounders on other basses and was hoping to get some of those. Well, Nick @ Sweetwater suggested these and BOOM! That Squier sounds every bit as good (and better) than I expected! Quiet too. Yes, Fender has done it! These have a great 'classic' single coil sound to my ears yet the advantage of a dual coil that the hum is all but gone! The only time I get noise now is when I get too close to florescent lights or my phone or iPod gets too close! I love them!
