I go insane when someone plugs in and the PA picks up amp snap crackle pop. I think it is the most unprofessional thing that can be done. It sets a buzz through the crowd that kills the momentum of a set. Whether it's a change of instrument or a new plug in. Most can be prevented by turning the guitar down. But in the case of a guitar that is not properly cleaned and maintained it's a sound that is almost unavoidable. So all my performance guitars have these jacks installed from the start. All current guitars are required to have these jacks with hotter pickups and better wiring. I love these jacks. They make me sound like I want to sound and avoid that insanely noisy worthless sound.
