Really great package

By Carson T. from South Dakota
Music Background: Touring Lead Guitar | 8 Years

When you realize your pedalboard value has gotten way out of hand this guy saves the day. PT makes great boards but for an extra couple of bucks you can get a professional quality touring case!? I simply don't know how they do it. Only a half star off because there were a few dents in the paint when it arrived.

My first pedal board

By Kenny R. from Northwest Tennessee
Music Background: limited. Didn't pick up a guitar till I turned 50. Didn't know that I could play harmonica till I was 58. I'm 64.75 now and I'm having a blast!!

I'm a rookie in the music world. I'm pretty good at faking harmonica. Effects help me fake it even better. This pedal board more than sufficiently puts it's time in with some "fake" support. And, on top of that, the hard shell case stays "on top of that"!!!

How much more on top of things can one be? Thanks Sweetwater for putting together a site that makes even fakers be able to shop

Built Like A Tank

By Emilio C. from PUEBLO, CO

This case is heavy, but i would trust it with anything inside because it is so sturdy. The board is perfect build quality and you really couldn't go wrong with this board. I would definitely recommend planning your board out thoroughly before you buy a board though to make sure all your cables, pedals, and power will fit. Also, plan to give yourself room for the future and don't overcrowd your pedals or else you won't be able to tap on them without bumping knobs or breaking things. I chose to use a pedaltrain because they are light and built well and the spacing between the rails works great to route all your cables and power.

Pedaltrain #3

By R W.
Music Background: Guitar Player Since 1979

Like most people, I started small with a few pedals and a Pedaltrain Nano. Added a few more pedals, then got the Classic Jr. Now I'm up to 9 pedals, 5 of which are double-sized, and a Strymon Zuma mounted underneath (see pics). I didn't even consider another brand for my next board. Pedaltrain buils these things to last forever and the price is very reasonable. Stands up to much abuse year after year.

**I bought the black tour case to go with my Classic Jr and was concerned that the Classic 1 silver case wouldn't be as good. I can assure you that it is the exact same build quality. The only difference between the black & silver cases is that the black one has an extra 2 inches of room on top to store cables & straps, etc... An unnecessary luxury, imo, and not worth another $. This silver case & board will probably outlive me, LOL.

Pedalboard by pedal train

By Julian from Newcastle Delaware
Music Background: Guitar player

Wow what a case , I like the board a lot seemed really easy to mount pedals , but it needed to have a better way underneath to mount the power supply, like a shelf bracket or something, because there are so many different types of power supply's out there
But the build quality is fabulous n light .

Great board, quality case.

By John from Bethlehem PA
Music Background: Bassist 10+ years

Bought this for my bass rig. Been looking to upgrade to a bigger board for a while. I wanted one with a solid case, which runs the price up a lot. This one seemed to be the best deal (and it was). The board can fit about 9 pedals maybe even more depending on what pedals you use. I'm very happy with it! And highly recommend it.

That case is SOLID

By Nathan H. from Hamilton, AL

I was once loading my gear up the stairs to my apartment, and my friend carrying the pedalboard slipped, and I watched it tumble corner over corner down the entire flight of stairs. Not only was the pedalboard completely fine, but the case itself had nothing but a few scratches. Couldn’t recommend pedal train more!

Make sure you buy a power supply - I was young and new to the gear world, and I asked for the board for Christmas. Opened it, then realized there was no power supply. Make sure you don’t make the same mistake I did! Haha

What’s in the box

By Tod

Rock solid case. The board is light sturdy and easy to customize. Secured power supply and custom handles in just a few minutes. The free shipping on something this substantial is an additional bonus. As always Oscar and Sweetwater delivered as promised.

Premier Pedal Board

By Mike from Phoenix

I spent some time looking into board options and settled on Pedal Train. I have no regrets. The quality is very high and I easily mounted my VooDoo Labs Mondo underneath using the mounting brackets. The Tour-Grade Flight case is a no brainer; amazingly sturdy and professional. Spend the extra money and get this case...you won't regret it.

Great Case for fly gig's

By TOM M. from Dunedin, FL
Music Background: Professional

The Pedaltrain Classic 1 TC is the ideal tour case for the fly dates that I do. I needed a pedalboard to retain some of my sound on fly dates. And needed to keep it well under 50 lbs (my total full effects pedalboard weight is 35 lbs) for air travel to be checked in with 2nd bag luggage. As traveling guitar players we need to retain some of our tone with back lineup equipment we end up on the venue. This thing is the ideal for the traveling musician wether you travel is walking, car, train or airplane it's the best!

Great

By Mark M. from Rockfall, CT
Music Background: 30+ years

Great board . Works especially well for me since I use a pedal snake rather than a power supply .
The case is well made.......But there isn't too much room to pack any extras.
If you do use a pedal snake it will not fit back in the case very well.

Great Product!

By Tim from Seattle

Just picked one of these up. Really is a nice unit and the case is worth the money alone! Top notch. I did install my power unit (same brand, I just forget the model at the moment) and that was fairly painless. They could have spent a bit more time on engineering the brackets to make them fool proof but it was easy to install. I read a complaint about their unit was tweaked and did't sit flat. Mine was very close out of the box as I tested it on a very flat surface. The rubber feet are riveted on... at some point I'm sure I will drill those out and replace them with feet that I can adjust up or down on a thread. Hopefully pedaltrain reads this and beats me to doing that on future boards.

Once again, Jason Theile my sales engineer did a fantastic job on behalf of Sweetwater. I really enjoy ding business with these guys!

Great protection and well organized

By Sweetwater Customer
Music Background: Pro Bassist - 30+ years

Take stock on the number of pedals you're toting around, and add up the cost of each pedal.
You'll quickly realize its a substantial $$$$ investment. The pedatrain makes it incredibly easy to configure your pedals, route and hide cables making for a Pro look, and hassle free set-up.
Best pedal upgrade yet!
