Just what I wanted!
It works great and it came to my door quickly. sweetwater is in touch with me to make sure I don't have any problems.
Great Unit!
I wanted a basic turntable that was affordable but not too cheaply made and this turned out to be perfect. It's sturdy and plays great right out of the box. Sounds great using headphones as well as through the line out and the built in speaker is surprisingly good. The only minor issue I have and I knew this before purchasing is that it doesn't have a play/stop button but it's not a deal breaker. I highly recommend this if you want quality without spending too much.
Great features and value
There is nothing else out there at this price with these features. Purchased for a my daughter as her first turntable, and it does everything she needs (and more). The internal speaker sounds better than I expected. But she may need some powered monitors for xmas!
The Numark PT-01USB is outstanding for my old recording conversions.
I have a lot of 33, 45 and 78 RPM recordings, converting them to CD was a snap with the Numark PT-01USB. I was a little skeptical when I saw the price but after using the turntape I'm amazed. It is a great piece of equipment at a very reasonable price.
SO FAR SO GOOD
MUCH BETTER SOUND THAN THE LITTLE SUITCASE RECORD PLAYER I HAD. HAVE IT CONNECTED WITH A PAIR OF MACKIE MONITORS AND I LOVE IT. IF I HAD TO GIVE 1 COMPLAINT ABOUT IT IS THAT THE CLIP THAT HOLDS THE ARM IS VERY CHEAPLY MADE. FEELS LIKE IT MIGHT BREAK EASILY IF NOT HANDLED CAREFULLY.
Great Addition to My Audio World
I only gave this a 4.5 because, as of yet, I haven't used all of its features, but I am extremely pleased with this turntable. So far the performance features exceed my expectations, but I am most "nearly" blown away by its versatility. I have other nice turntables but this is already a valuable tool in my audio production arsenal- and it plays my 78s!
Numark PT-01USB turntable
Simplicity. Works great. Well worth $ + USB + free shipping. It can run on 6 size D batteries. I play it through a mixer into my Carvin powered PA. I might even take it camping and run it through a battery powered amp.
Perfect.
This thing is perfect for what it does. We keep ours on our table for everyday use.
The speaker is a little quiet but the outputs sound great. I do wish there was a place to store the power adaptor and I would have been nice for the aux in to be routed to the speaker, I think they made this change on the new one. I got this one because it has adjustable pitch and the new one does not.
It's really fun to sample stuff with this player as well.
Numark PT-01USB
Great price, fast shipping and awesome sound overall. I wasnt looking for anything fancy or to make a career. Just wanted a simple vinyl player that could connect to my mac. Happy with this order.
OUTSTANDING
iT WORKS AS EXPECTED.
Just what I needed!
Works great - most convenient transfer hardware I've found - and so is the software. Like Sweetwater's great service - it's perfect
itunes not talking to the machine
It plays well and works if I take the signal off the mini plugs, but you lose the nifty system to load into iTunes. I load it into one of my studio editing programs and then have to divide the signal into individual tracks and then laboriously enter all of the data, which with iTunes is a genuine pain. I have copied only one album since I got it. I am not sure I am willing to go through the hassle to do another.
