The Yamaha PSR-S550B sports a 16-track/5-song sequencer, so you've got all the tools you need from start to finish: get creative with tons of voices, tweak your sound with the effects, then track it all out. There's even a USB connection so you can store your MIDI sequences, then load them into your computer for further editing. Or, use your PSR-S550B as a great-feeling MIDI controller for playing virtual instruments into your DAW!

Want backing tracks or just great rhythms to launch yourself into a new song idea? The PSR-S550B puts you in touch with 176 styles, including new dance styles. In fact, the PSR-S500's Style Engine is similar to the top-of-this-line PSR-S700. Each style has three intros and endings as well as four variations and fill-ins. What's more, you can even create your own custom sounds using the easy Style Creator Function. Whatever you do, there are four One Touch Settings onboard and dedicated Voice and Style category buttons, so it's easy to get to just what you're looking for.
