The PSR-E583 also comes equipped with dual speakers, providing a powerful sound that’s fit for practice or jamming with others. Additionally, a Mega Boost button kicks up your playing by 6dB for dramatic volume shifts. Whether you're looking to upgrade your practice piano or you're ready to add another performance keyboard to your arsenal, the PSR-E583 deserves a serious audition.
Good for the $ but...
I like almost everything about this keyboard except the feel of the keys... I know they are not weighted...and that's a big part of it but the attack and touch sensitivity is lacking also... I basically sacrificed that feature for the over-all weight of the keyboard..its only a hair over 20 lbs.... I got tired of hauling a 60 lb Kurz.... It might be me, but the keys seem a tiny bit smaller too...maybe that's an illusion but its gonna take some time to get used to these... I give it a over-all Larry David "Eh?" Sweetwater on the other hand was fine... Their usual efficiant self.
