On-Stage PS901 13-output Pedalboard Power Bank
On-Stage PS901 13-output Pedalboard Power Bank Reviews
At Sweetwater, we understand how difficult it can be to decide on the perfect performance pedalboard. Fortunately, On-Stage Stands has a solution. The PS901 Pedalboard Power Bank is a convenient, versatile engine that can fit right under your pedalboard, thanks to its low-profile design. The heavy-duty metal enclosure is lightweight yet robust, protecting its built-in surge protector and internal components. With the use of the included 5-plug daisy-chain, up to 13 pedals can be simultaneously powered, without the need for additional adapters. Multiple voltages accommodate a range of needs, with one 18V output, two 12V at 1A, one 9V at 1A, and five 9V at 100mA. Onboard LED indicators aid in determining which outputs are available; plus, the inclusion of a reverse polarity plug and three different Euro plug attachments ensure you’ll be rockin’ around the world with a pedalboard that's as clean as can be.
Low Cost, High Return
I have 3 of these... they work great. I've never tried the more expensive brands but no need to at this point - these do what I need.
Don’t do it fam…
Unless you're fine with a noisy daisy chain power setup. If there is a radio station you can't pick up in your car, this power supply can do it. It'll also make you look like an idiot in front of the sound engineer when you're sound checking for your set and the garbled evening news is competing with your guitar signal. I've heard…
Easy to hide and work with.
I used this as part of my first pedalboard. Erik, a very helpful guy at SweetWater helped me with getting all the right things to put it all together. I'm 65 soon to be 66, I started out playing my Ukulele about three years ago at the senior center? Anyway you know how this goes. One thing leads to another, which equals = Fun!
Noisy and unusable with HX stomp
Will not work with HX stomp. 9v 1amp will power up HX stomp but will hum. Tried 9v 1 amp and 9v 100ma together with a splitter same problem.
Great size power supply
Great size for pedal boards perfectly fit below my foot pedals an it came with all the cables
Perfect power supply
This power supply fits the bill. I have some noise in my board but it may be coming from one of my stomp boxes. It's a new setup so I'll have to investigate further.
Functional but noisy :-(
I got this to power a little board with an hx stomp and a couple of drives (od-3 and a gain changer). It works, but it's super noisy. It's what you get for 50.-, but I doubt it's truly isolated. Maybe it'll work with an all analog board, but I'll have to replace it.
Pedal power supply
First time order from Sweetwater. Wow, way more than I expected! Customer service is way an above any other company. Levi was great, my power supply got here a day early and works as expected. Supply is whisper quiet and looks to be built very well. Thank you Levi!
I wanted to like it
Small form factor, ten outlets, a 9v/1A for a power hungry DSP pedal that wants 600+ mA, I really, really wanted to like this power supply.
Then I plugged it in. There is a constant shrill whine somewhere above 11kHz when I plug anything into it. I have a cheap Donner PS that is quieter than this thing. Unhooking it and packing it up today.
Perfect for what I need
I use 2 of these on the same pedal board since they're the only ones live found with a 12V/1A and 9V/1A output. I use the 12V output for my Voicelive Play Electric and the 9V/1A for the Line 6 G10s Relay. So I only use one A/C power adapter, i bought a Y-adapter that supplied the 18V inputting voltage to BOTH units, and another 18V power supply that has enough juice to support both.
Great price, quality equipment
I am using two of these to power my pedal board. I have not had any issues with them introducing noise, they are well built and low profile. The only downside is the supply adapter, it's big and clunky, and connecting two in the same location is difficult.
