Amazing!
I bought 4 of these from Sweetwater two weeks agony and I am completely blown away by them. Maybe the best $3000 I have ever spent on my rig. I was originally going to buy a pair of Peavey SP218 subs because I had heard them recently and was impressed. Sweetwater was out of the SP218 and I needed them THAT DAY because of an unexpected emergency, so I bit the bullet and spent the extra $1000 on the PRX418S. I was a little disappointed because I never imagined that the $1000 would be such a difference. Man am I glad that I was forced into spending that extra $1000! I've used them twice... Once with a quite indoor setting (not a loud rock band) and they had such smooth bottom end that made my mouth water and they gave you punch that you could feel without being loud at all. The second time was at an outside 1000 person gig with a loud 80's rock band and they kicked butt. 4 of them powered by a 3000w QCS RMXa4050 amp was more than enough low end to fill the entire place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The punch on these babies is awesome. Clear sound fill the majority of the venues I have performed. I can't wait to get another set. :)
Super Smooth!
We bought 2 of these for our small church sanctuary (e 50' x 50') about 2 years ago… and they rock! We've done everything from acoustic music sets to hosting rap concerts and these subs hold up! We get more compliments on the fullness (yet controlled) sound of our system weekly… and it's all thanks to these bad boys! We're getting ready to break ground for our new building and I'm positive we'll be buying a couple more very soon!

Great Subs!
Just replaced 2 folded horn subs with 2 of these and I am happy with the results. Have lots of punch and can take anything you through at them. Fills a large room with ease. High power rating and low cost ratio hard to beat.
