Incredible cables. No more scary popping noise. Eliminates the popping noise when you switch guitars

Must have for live and studio guitars

By Marco Garcia from Wrangell, AK on October 20, 2021

Small band, and recording studio application. I needed to replace cables for the Mesa, and the Fender tweed. Looking around the Sweetwater vast selection, this one got my attention. I ordered and when I received it had to test the Tele and tweed with this. NICE! I really enjoyed receiving more then I expected. Highly recommend. Worth every cent.

Worth Every Penny

By Shawn from Tucson, AZ on January 26, 2018

The quality of this cable is unmatched. The "Silent Switch" alone is worth the price of this cable. I have two electric guitars and often switch back and forth while jamming at home. I had finally had enough of the loud popping when plugging my old cable into my guitars with the amp cranked up, so I began researching options.

I trust and value PRS's name and commitment to quality and was very impressed with Van Damme's reputation and quality, so I knew this would be a great product; and I was right. I read that cables can affect tone, but I did not believe it until now. My wife and I listened carefully when playing thru this cable and my super cheap cable and there was an undeniable difference. It is also very flexible and the length is perfect.

Your search for the best cable on earth is over. Buy this cable now, of course from Sweetwater.

Just What I Needed

I run and Open Mic--these silent cables are perfects for the on-stage guitars. No worries about popping the P.A. when performers plug or unplugs

PRS No-Pop Guitar Cable

By Mike from Baltimore on July 30, 2015 Music Background: 44 years on electric guitar

I wanted a pop-free guitar cable to easily change guitars and I found it in this product. What I didn’t expect was the result of a clearly better design. The silver-plated, oxygen-free copper conductors with close-lapped spiral shielding provide a clearly cleaner signal. I went back and forth using the kind of cable always available to guitarists and this PRS Silent. A clear difference. I commend PRS for carrying this cable under their name. They really do believe in quality.

Excellent cable

By Stephen from NY on January 9, 2015 Music Background: Long time guitarist/hobbyist

I have many guitar cables including "high end" brands such as Lava, Mogami, George L etc., and this one has become my favorite. Sound is clear, defined and uncolored, and the silent jack works perfectly. Don't see how you can ask for more; the price is right too. Recommended!

Best cable

I love the flexability of PRS cables. Not stiff like other cables. Very high quality.

Nice sturdy cable

By Justin from New Orleans, LA on May 10, 2016

Does what it says. Sturdy construction. No pop on switching guitars. I'd give it 5 stars but I need a few more months of use to test the longevity.

Not Sure

By Robert Birch from Orlando, FL on September 14, 2022 Music Background: Hobbyist

I really like the silent capability its' very nice. The tone seems good, from a hobbyist perspective. This has to be the thinnest flimsy guitar cable I have ever owned, which seems nice, but why and how? For $80 they sure are skimpy on the cable tie, half the time when I roll up the cable there isn't enough of the cable tie to go around the cord wrap and I have to rewind the cord, What? Why only one cable tie wrap for 18'?
