Great piece of gear

This power center is great. Gives me plenty of plugs i need for all of my equipment and ensures it doesn't fry in case of storms. Love the assurance it gives me in my old house.
I did have to run a new outlet into my room because no power strip works without a ground and my house wasn't built with any. Overall a great product and look forward to using all my electronics without worry.

Great Product

Does what it is supposed to do and protects my Bass Amp and other rack gear perfectly. Cost a few bucks less than the Furman M-8X2 which i was looking at first and has one more extra outlet than the Furman too.

No PROS

I bought two of these--mainly because they fit into two 8" deep racks and I trusted the Monster name.

Within weeks, the ON/OFF switches for both of them started locking up. I sometimes need to use a screwdriver with a swift tap to shut them off.

The right angle power plug was a continuous problem as it interfered with plugging other equipment into AC outlets. This may have been intentional to prevent overloading an AC circuit, but I'd rather decide the power requirements for myself, thank you! I clipped them off and replaced them with straight plugs.

This is NOT wall wart (AC/DC power adapter) friendly. There is only one outlet that can handle the space taken up by a traditional wall wart and the location of the ground stud prevents you from plugging one there. I removed the ground studs so that I could use a wall wart.

This is by far the worst rack accessory I have ever purchased both in terms of quality and design. Don't buy things based on the name.
