Excellent As Resonant Heads

Six months ago I upgraded the tom batter heads on my Tama ImperialStar six-piece from stock to Remo Pinstripes. The result was a very noticeable improvement in tone and attack. I just swapped-out the stock resonant heads for these Remo Ambassadors and I'm blown away. To my ears this is a bigger improvement than the updated batter heads, to the extent that I'm a better drummer. Seriously, after installing these and re-tuning the toms I actually have better stick control to go along with even more improved tone and attack. If you're running stock resonants with upgraded batters, then I highly recommend upgrading your resonant heads, too. You can always use them on top if you don't like them on the bottom ;-) .
