Worth much more than it costs.

I've been playing guitar for 30 years and bought into the hype of expensive guitars early on. My focus has typically been on high-end Les Pauls, PRSs, etc. I really don't know what compelled me to buy this Charvel, but I am very happy I did. The tone and playability are superb. Intonation was perfect out of the box. Tuning is stable. The neck is extremely comfortable and very fast. I also really love the pickup combination. The 5-way switch and volume/tone pots aren't the best, but can be easily and inexpensively replaced. Over all, this is way more guitar than I was expecting for the price. It is an outstanding guitar for any price. Tonally, it can cover a lot of territory, and it is just a fun guitar to play. Highly recommended. This will definitely not be my last Charvel.

Serious tone

I had a Charvel H/S HT for years and when I left my last hand I sold all of my gear including that guitar...I missed it, until I got this one....it has heavier, more well rounded tones from the bridge humbucker, and great Strat quack and twang from the neck and middle pickups.....I love the 2 and four positions on the 5-way for the quack, and when you roll off the volume it really cleans up nicely,, the neck really cranks for creamy solo tones the humbucker really screams....the body and neck feel great, the satin finish is great.....I'm glad I got it....

Bad to the bone bruh

I've gigged this guitar pretty hard and through it all this thing hasn't even winced in the face of failure. Carbon neck has withstood temperature fluctuations that I deal with in the midwest and even through I'm a terrible guitar dad the neck is still mint. The pickups are perfect because I don't chug 100% of the time sometimes I need to play some country and IT DOES THAT. The one and only thing that could be seen as a draw back is the matte finish will polish and become shiny overtime, even the black finish on the bridge starting to come off. I see it as a free relic job. the guitar rips.
