Plays great, Looks great, Sounds great
I've only had it for a couple weeks and find it hard to put down. The maple neck is fast and looks great to. The pictures don't do it justice looks way better in person. Well worth the price in my opinion.
Awesome Guitar with Quality Service from The Sweetwater Team
If you are looking for a Great Stratocaster Style Guitar with upgraded perks this is it. I had a Strat-like this years ago and I have been living in regret for many years for letting it go. This guitar has definitely filled the void within my soul. This guitar is a little sharper with the DK body but the cuts are amazing and make it extremely comfortable to play. You get quality woods with quality pickups for the price and it will not have to be upgraded in my opinion, I play through a Marshall DSL40C and it sounds great on all the channels from warm-sounding cleans to clear high-gain sounds. I could not find a better guitar with quality wood or pickups in my price range and I definitely looked at every other guitar to try and find something a little cheaper and found that with all the mods I would have to make it would end up being the same price with more headache. TJ Jackson and the Team at Sweetwater were amazing, by contacting me and even sending pics of the exact guitar I was getting. I have been using Sweetwater for many years now and I can say I have never had a bad experience. Thanks for everything and of course thanks for the little bags of candy my children are always excited when I get a package from the Sweetwater Team.
Maybe the most versatile guitar I own
The white paint, gold hardware, and caramelized maple neck make for a quite stunning look. The Duncan pickups are great: the singles coils make for warm and sparkly cleans while the humbucker really screams. The neck feels and plays great. The tremolo is a lot easier to deal with than a full Floyd Rose and the locking tuners really help keep it in tune. My only real ding against this guitar is the placement of the volume knob as I am constantly accidentally turning it down while playing. But that's a pretty minor complaint and I'm already succeeding more at avoiding it with my picking hand.
All in all a very high recommend from me!
One of the best guitars for the price
I have a couple guitars and recently got this guitar as a birthday present from my gf. The thing is a beast, the neck feels great, the access to the up frets is great and the tone pot with the it rolled up takes it out of circuit for a little of that van halen tone. I was at first skeptical of the full shred pickup because i saw it had scooped mids, but it is it's own thing. The tone block looks solid and the tremolo is smooth, the only thing i did was dampen the springs to make sure there was no noise when muting and playing with distrotion/overdrive.
I am extremely happy with it and I own some really great brands like Collings and Kiesel
