I chose a Levy strap because they're highly rated for build quality, materials, durability and offer a lifetime warranty. The padding is firm, stitching is heavy, the stamping is nice and the Walnut color is versatile. I'm used to 2 1/2" straps so I do feel the 3" is against my neck noticeably more.

This strap looks nice on the website. However, it is quite stiff, the pattern looks like an inexpensive stamped pattern, and the dyeing is flat - all one color. The backing is too slick. It slides on your shoulder.

The Levy's M4WP-005, Sundance 3" wide Embossed Leather Guitar Strap; Western Series is much better. For $ more it is way worth it. I have several of them in different colors and patterns. These feel like they are already broken in. The backing is not as smooth and has a bit of a "grip" the a heavy guitar or bass doesn't slip off your shoulder.

This is a thick 3" wide real leather guitar strap. The artwork on it is superb. This will last a lifetime and you can then hand it down to your kids and it will last them a lifetime. Top of the line and just awesome. I really do love it.

This strap is all and more than what I was expecting. Very well made and is very comfortable.
Will buy more for my other guitars

Bought the brown tooled strap and the black one on the same day. Both are awesome, although a little stiff, but that's to be expected. I love tooled leather and finally can show off my guitars together with cool straps. Caveat: make sure your playing skills match the professional level strap, otherwise you might just be another "show off" guitar player.

Well made comfortable strap.

Very good product. Well made and for the money, you can't go wrong. Hand tooled leather straps like this go for almost three times the money. If your looking for something a less expensive then the hand tooled straps, I recommend this one. It's good looking and very comfortable to use.

Needed a wide strap and got something not only fit my needs but is absolutely gorgeous. Thought it might be too stiff but is very flexible. The carving on it is just fantastic. Great service by Mark who got my strap to me in time to use for a gig on the weekend. Thanks to Mark and to Levy's.

This is, without a doubt, one of the nicest straps I've ever purchased in my 45 years of being a guitarist! Top-notch quality from Levy's-as always-beautiful leather and tooling, comfortable padding on the backside-love it! I would have easily given it a 5-star rating, but wish the Levy's logo would have been a little less conspicuous and placed in a less prominent spot.

The strap is very comfortable and it looks great. I have had several friends try my new guitar and they have all said they really liked the feel of the new strap.

This is the strap you always wanted - cool "cowboy chic" in a width worthy of weighty instruments such as a Les Paul or any bass [which in my case is a Lakland Joe Osborn]. The leather is also thick so this investment will last a lifetime. Last, but certainly not least is the quality of the leather detailing - as in my title I consider the work to be of artisan quality. very nice strap great leatherwork (tooling) fits all my guitars. the only thing this strap does not do is make me play better!

This strap is great. I use it on my Les Paul Traditional Pro and it really relieves shoulder ache. The tooling on it is excellent quality and shows just how good a Levys strap can be. All in all a great strap and a must have for Paul players.
