Absolutely love it
Overall, the White Marine Pearl kit is gorgeous. The way it reflects light from my window makes me just stare at it sometimes haha.
The hardware is chunky. Being that this is my "studio kit", this is great. I feel very confident that the hardware will easily last a decade or more. I personally don't have any issues with the gyro lock mount and the Optimount system, and can position my tom exactly where I need it. Some people complain about it, but it's good for me. It also never moves and is stable.
The shells seem to be well finished. I didn't find any issues with the bearing edges as they all feel really smooth. Couldn't find any finishing imperfections that were obvious.
The sound is fantastic. It tunes up pretty easy and these can really sing if you want them to. I replaced batter and reso on both Toms with Remo Ambassador coated with maybe 10 cotton balls in each Tom and I LOVE the way they sound. Also tried Evans EC2 and works well for more of a vintage 80s vibe or louder rooms where you need to beat on them.
The only potential issue I might see for some people is that these feel a little heavy compared to other kits I've moved around, so a gigging person MIGHT notice this but for me I actually like how heavy and durable it feels. If I had to gig with them I'd be fine with it.
