This guitar is breathtaking, an amazing jazz box. More than just beautiful, the build quality is perfection. You want the sound and look of the most elite arch top jazz guitars plus the action and playability of the best solid-body rock guitars, then this guitar is for you.

A Work of Art

By Brian from Berkeley on June 30, 2019 Music Background: Jazz Guitarist for over 25 years

I have had my Ibanez PM200 for one year now. It is a wonderful instrument! The sound is clear, crisp, resonant and warm. The fretboard is smooth and the action is so low that one can glide over the strings effortlessly! This is also a beautiful guitar to look at. It is well-balanced and lightweight despite its fairly large size. Without a doubt it has become my favorite instrument.

The staff at Sweetwater were a pleasure to deal with. They set up the guitar perfectly. It arrived very fast and in perfect condition. They even sent me pictures of the guitar before I got it!

I would definitely recommend buying a guitar from Sweetwater. Maybe I shouldn't recommend that you buy the Ibanez PM200 though. I kind of want this wonderful sounding instrument all to myself ;-) .

Another Great Experience with Sweetwater

By Paul Y. from Tucson, Arizona on August 27, 2015 Music Background: Serious Recreational Player

Over the past three years I have built up such a rapport with my sales consultant at Sweetwater that our communication seems almost telepathic. I can honestly say I have ever had a bad experience with Sweetwater Guitars as a result of his efforts. Courteous, polite, responsive, knowledgeable...the list of superlatives goes on with Sweetwater's sales consultants and support staff.
Now the guitar...the best part about Sweetwater, is that what you see is what you get. And if the guitar arrives at your home and you don't like it, they will do everything humanly possible to make it right, including getting you a new axe if the one you bought just doesn't feel right, no matter how well it fits your eye.
Speaking of which, the PM 200NT is a guitar that I have had my eye on for a couple of years now (since arriving on the market). I count Gibsons, Taylors, and Martins in my collection, so the bar is pretty high for the Japanese made Ibanez. My concerns were unfounded. The hollow body arrived at my house fedex less than a week after I purchased it and played like like a dream right out of the box; that is six guitars and counting from Sweetwater where I have been completely satisfied with my purchase!
In closing, the Ibanez PM200NT is a jazz guitarist's dream - PM needs no introduction and his influence is evident in several nuances of this guitar.I think it is a collectible guitar right out of the box.

As a side note, when I take my guitars to my Luthier for set up, he always knows which ones I bought from Sweetwater - they often require little or no set up changes. That speaks very highly of their 55 step review process before shipment.

Kudos again Sweetwater!!!
