Miktek PM10 Cardioid Dynamic Drum Microphone Reviews
In Nashville (where Miktek mics are assembled), recording engineers are raving about the Miktek PM10 dynamic supercardioid mic on snare drum. We can add that the PM10 also does a great job on toms. With its PM Series mics, Miktek has taken its renowned studio mic technology and packaged it tough for the road. But the PM10 is at home in the studio as well. Tight and punchy, the PM10's versatility also makes it a wonderful general purpose mic: use it to tame guitar cabs, congas, or almost anything else that emits high SPLs. If you're looking for a rugged, versatile dynamic mic, look no further than the Miktek PM10.

Great all around dynamic!
This thing has found a home on my snare and in front of my guitar cabs. Very full, warm sound!
A spectacular vocal mic
The tone of my voice is as full and detailed as it would be via the venerable Beyerdynamic M88 TG.
Try it!!
Snare BOSS
So good on snare, no matter where you place it! When recording, I'll accidentally hit it with my stick and move it out of place and it still sounds great somehow.
Miktek PM10/PM11
These mics are the very best drum mics I have ever used. Very little EQ is required to give a full sound. I have also used the PM11 on upright bass, electric bass rigs and anything I needed to get a punchy low end from. I have used the PM10 on acoustic instruments such as Electric Guitar, Mandolin and Banjo with stunning results! I have 1 of the PM11's (soon to be 3) and 8 of the PM10's in my mic box now. Everything else is relegated to opening act use.
Excellent and Robust
I've only had this a few weeks, but already I love it. Very solidly built, GREAT clip, and very good hi-hat rejection when used on the snare. Definitely a different sound from an SM57, little less honk, little crisper, and while I have no issue with the SM57, this will probably free it up for other duties.
My new go-to snare and guitar cab mic
Fantastic. Clear, but not harsh. It captures the body of a snare so great. This rivals the i5, my previous favorite snare mic. These have rendered my 57s almost useless. It's advertised as a tom mic as well, but it's a little heavy on the midi for my taste in toms. I truly hope I get to try out more of their mics soon!
