Absolutely Incredible
This guitar is absolutely incredible, I have a pretty decent guitar collection at this point but never had an Ibanez until now and am extremely grateful this was my first.
I always noticed that a good Ibanez sounds great for lead and distortion parts put doesn't seem to sacrifice any quality for the clean tone. This is 100% true for this guitar—–very versatile.
I mostly play a PRS 513 in my band which I love, but this one may just steal my heart. Having those extra 2 frets for a full 24 is really freeing and the top 4 frets being scaled really does make a big difference in playability up there. The neck feels great in my hand, and my girlfriend shuttered at first sight of it because of how beautiful it is, hands-down the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned.
I've never had a double locking tremolo bridge on one of my guitars but I can see why people appreciate them. I definitely notice I can be much more aggressive with the tremolo bar without it going out of tune, which is very satisfying.
Bottom line this guitar will definitely not disappoint. I've played several other Ibanez guitars and this is by far my favorite.
I order all my guitars from Sweetwater, because of their 55 point guitar inspection, I'm confident I can get to playing right out of the box.
