Dunlop James Hetfield White Fang Custom Guitar Picks 1.14mm 24-pack Reviews
When the master of heavy riffing comes to you asking for a pick designed to hold up to his standards, the only thing to do is listen and listen closely. This is exactly what Dunlop did when none other than James Hetfield approached them to design a pick made for heavy attack and outstanding response. Using their classic Flow Standard Pick as a foundation, Dunlop developed the James Hetfield White Fang Custom pick. This custom pick brings a snappy attack and crisp articulation.

Finally, I'm content.
After years of trying to find the right pick that fits my playing, I bought a pack of these and I felt satisfied all the way through. I been using them since Papa Het dropped them. I trust Papa Het because of his rhythm playing which is right up my alley. Sharp, but not too much (despite me dulling one every sesh). Small but not a jazz 3 small, but has a more rounded body to it with the grip on it. Its kind hard to let it slip out of your fingers unless you're going HAM.
Needless to say I reorder these picks every few months and love 'em. You might too.
Beveled edges make it great
White Fang picks are basically Dunlop Flow picks with a beveled edge and a sharper tip. These minor changes really make these very versatile and capable picks. The wolf print dulls of after some playing. But that is fine. These have replaced the Dunlop Flow picks (1.5mm) that I used to previously use.
Best picks ever!
I have used a metric ton of picks ranging in size, style, thickness, color, texture. Etc. These are hands down the best performing picks I've ever used. Tortex flow followed by tortex III. Were both my go to picks. Not after using the white fangs just once. Absolutely phenomenal performance.
Heavy Riffing Machine
These new picks are great. The texturing is just enough for good grip but not too much where it would be uncomfortable to play. They are slightly smaller than the old Black Fang which I like. My only negativie would be that the wolf graphic extends far down to the sharp part of the pick that you can feel the graphic sliding against the plain strings as you're playing so thats something to get used to if you're playing single notes. But overall, they are worth it and I will definitly be using them.
