I was hesitant on buying this conditioner based on many reviewers stating buzzing issues with USB port on front for phone charging...however I bought the unit anyways and have not experienced those issues.

Solid build and Black Lion Audio continues to impress!

My home was built in 1934 and although the electrical had been updated I was still getting a lot of electrical noise from the AC and other appliances. I upgraded to a CiOKS DC7 for my pedals and what I thought was a nice surge protector but still noisy. I knew the Black Lion brand from pre amp mods and thought I'd give them a try. No more noise!!! And it didn't cost a fortune. Thank you!

Good quiet power. What else could you want from a product like this?

It powers my Eleven Rack, Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro, and Behringer amp head just fine.

And it's handy to have that USB port on the front to charge my phone while I play.

The power conditioner is as promised. I am very pleased.

As far as I can tell, it's a $ rack mounted power strip. There's a USB port on the front and whatever I plug into it (LED Lamp, Light, Cellphone charger, etc.) results in a humming, hissing, electronic, noise that is just audible enough that it drives you batshit crazy trying to figure out where the sound is coming from. Other than that, it's meh. You get what you pay for. If you you're not counting on a USB power supply on the front, then this is a great option. Or rather, why did BLA put this horrid thing (USB Port) on the unit to begin with?

The BL PG-X has completely cleaned up my signal path! No more do I have the static and pops in my monitors that tech after tech kept blaming on either my AC cables near my signal cables or that the cables that I was using were garbage and not TRS!

I am so happy I took a chance on the "New Kid on the block" instead of Furman (no shade on Furman, they were the kings!).

I like the protection it gives though I still have the pedal and amp noise.

Black lion a great company never had a problem with any Black lion product
and this is no exception great price made like a tank and it works.

The power conditioner itself has given me no issues, but whenever I plug something into the front USB port, the unit gives off an audible whine. It's enough that I don't ever use the USB port because it interferes with mixing. I contacted Black Lion support about this and after responding to one of my emails, they didn't respond further even though I pinged them a few times over several months. I would be hesitant to buy another Black Lion product because of this.

I've been having issues with noise interference in my old house. I got an isolated power supply for my pedals a while back hoping that would help. Not so much. I got this conditioner in hopes it would help. My results are minimum at best. I still have plenty of noise interference that make some of my pedals almost unusable. Upon doing further research, it's more of an issue with my un shielded pickups in my mex telecaster. That being said, this unit is built like a tank. I love the idea of having my equipment protected. The USB port on the front is pretty sweet too. I would recommend this product just for the build quality and features. However consider my situation. My love for low cost guitars is really the problem and no piece of equipment will help 100% unless the internals in your guitar are protected from outside interference. I also own a couple epiphones and have the same noise more or less. For the price this is a steal, but it won't solve all your problems.

It's probably one of the least exciting purchases I've had to make for the studio but it does what it's suppose to. Took a star away because it's not as sturdy feeling as my Furman M-8x2. That and the USB charger is practically useless, constantly dropping the connection to my phone so I don't get a good charge, was mixing a project and kept hearing my phone go off with no notifications, took me a while to realize it was because it was connecting, charging, then disconnecting, and repeating.

If you don't need the USB port on the front it's a solid choice for the cost, no problems whatsoever excluding previously stated.

I got this because I was hearing the TV upstairs threw my cabinet. And I could at times hear crackling electric noise. When I believe people turning stuff on and off.
Since I got this none of aforementioned things have occurred. So I think it works!

I was using an old Monster power conditioner because I couldn't find anything decently priced to remove a nasty ground loop. With this unit the ground loop is gone! This is a great price for this unit! I will buy more of these as needed. :)

I have been using another brand religiously for over 30 years and they had started to fail so I this came around and I am happy. Filters RF and the spacing and weight is great.

I purchased the Black Lion power conditioner in order to remove noise from my home studio setup. I must say, that its performance is impressive. Not only did it remove noise, it made the sound from my JBL speakers even better than it was. The USB charging port is a welcome feature. There have been so times after all day coordinating and setting up a gig, that my cell goes completely dead by show time. This will solve that problem for sure! To Jacob Stutzman my sales tech, I would definitely recommend this over the more popular power conditioner brand.

From an audio standpoint I have nothing to complain about. It works as advertised and does a decent job of mitigating noise. The one minor flaw I noticed is that its from USB charging port is a bit flakey. It will charge devices, but it intermittently stops charging for a split second. It's almost like someone toggled a switch very quickly. That said, I can't see myself using that port very often.

I am so glad that I went with this power conditioner! This has minimized a lot of the annoying noise/interference coming from my speakers. I am running a few sets of monitors; Alesis Elevate 3s, Yamaha Hs8's, Yamaha Msp5s, & Krk Roku 10s. If you want noise filtering on top of surge protection for your gear, I highly recommend that you pick this up!

Black Lion has been doing some voodoo magic with the electrical noise reduction, and I'd imagine it's giving their competition some serious concern. This power conditioner completely solved the noise and dirty power issues from one of my outlets. Needless to say, I'm incredibly impressed by the performance. The easy access USB port and front plug is perfect if you don't have access to the back of the rack. The power switch and breaker are conveniently located on the front and the plugs are nicely spaced on the back and there's not much else to say. It works great in a 1U rack as intended and I'll continue to purchase Black Lion in the future.

I previously purchased a low value power conditioner that unfortunately resulted in my analog gear having a very subtle hum. Having used black lion audio products in the past and being familiar with their impressive quality/price ratio I decide to give this unit a try. It powers all my gear without issue and best of all with no added noise, even with levels cranked.
